Walk-in repair · 12-07 Jackson Ave, Long Island City
Cracked screen. Dead battery. Spilled coffee. Fixed same day.
A repair counter that concentrates on MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, a three-minute walk from the G and 7 trains. Common screens and batteries are kept on the shelf, so most of those jobs go home the day they come in. iPhones, Android phones and Windows laptops too.

The price is quoted for your exact machine
A MacBook screen is not one part. A 2017 MacBook Air, an M1 Air and a 16-inch MacBook Pro use completely different display assemblies, and what those assemblies cost from suppliers moves week to week. A price list on a website is either vague or out of date.
So we do it the other way round: tell us the model number on the bottom of your MacBook — it starts with an A, like A2337 — and we quote for that machine and that part, on the phone or at the counter. You hear the price before any work starts.

Common questions
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in any day between 10 AM and 9 PM. If you want to check a part is in stock first, call (212) 404-3000 with your model number.
How much does a MacBook screen or battery replacement cost?
It depends on the exact model and on what the part costs that week, so we quote by phone or at the counter rather than publish a price list that would go stale. Call with the model number from the bottom of your MacBook and you will get a price before any work starts.
Can you really fix it the same day?
For screen and battery replacements on common MacBook models, usually yes, when the part is on the shelf. Liquid damage and board faults take longer because the time depends on what we find once the case is open.
Do you only repair MacBooks?
MacBooks are our focus and most of what comes across the bench, but we also repair iPhones, Samsung and other Android phones, and Windows laptops.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, but it depends on the repair and the part: some repairs carry our own warranty and some parts carry the supplier’s warranty. You are told which applies, and for how long, before you agree to the repair.
Where exactly are you?
